Together, we can explore unspoken needs that leave us searching for words.
"Let’s journey through understanding and healing, ensuring no emotion goes unheard."
About Me:
Welcome! I’m Renee Robinson, a Registered Healthcare Assistant, End-of-Life Doula, mother, wife, and grandmother. Through Shared Paths, I offer compassionate end-of-life education and planning, enabling individuals and families to navigate this deeply personal journey with confidence and peace of mind. I chose to take extensive training at Rhodes Wellness College, Doulagivers Institute, and Okanagan College, which has educated me with an in-depth knowledge of palliative care, emotional support, and holistic end-of-life planning. This, combined with my background in financial, personal, and healthcare support, allows me to understand and address the overwhelming nature of end-of-life planning.
Through my own experiences, I’ve learned how important it is to have support, guidance, and someone who truly listens. I also understand the challenges caregivers face because, at one point, I put my well-being last—until it led to a serious illness. That experience changed my perspective and strengthened my commitment to helping others prepare, find comfort, and honour their wishes. As an End-of-Life Doula, I provide emotional, practical, and holistic support, helping individuals and their loved ones navigate this journey with grace and dignity. I honour and respect each person’s unique beliefs, offering guidance in traditions and rituals if wished, creating meaningful ways to bring peace, connection, and closure.

What Is An End-of-Life Doula?
An end-of-life doula is a non-medical professional who provides compassionate support, guidance, and comfort to individuals and their loved ones as they navigate the final stages of life.
Whether working alongside hospice teams or independently, doulas offer holistic care, addressing emotional, spiritual, and practical needs. They help create a peaceful and personalized end-of-life experience through legacy work, vigil planning, and bedside presence.
With a calm, grounding presence, end-of-life doulas hold space for reflection, healing, and meaningful connection during life’s most sacred transition.

Our Vision
At Shared Paths Doula: Advocacy & Legacy Planning Inc., we envision a world where no one walks their final path alone. A world where end-of-life care is rooted in compassion, understanding, and dignity—and where every story is honoured, every choice respected, and every goodbye supported with grace.
Legacy and Meaning Making
Preserving Memories
Doulas play a vital role in helping families create meaningful books, audio recordings, rituals, and other legacy projects that honour the life and values of their loved ones. These tangible keeps provide a healing way for families to remember and celebrate the unique stories and experiences that define their cherished memories. With a compassionate approach, doulas guide families through the process, ensuring each project reflects the essence of the individual and offers comfort during times of remembrance.

Nope—we’re a beautiful complement to medical care. While hospice focuses on managing physical symptoms, we focus on emotional, spiritual, and practical needs. Are you the same as hospice or palliative care?
Who do you support?
Do you only work with people who are dying?
Not at all. We also support caregivers, adult children navigating difficult decisions, and individuals who want to prepare in advance. Everyone deserves a safe space and steady support.
